A Word From Kita Yang
Thank you for visiting! I first ran in 2022 during a special election to fill a two-year term vacancy on the ISD 622 School Board, and I’m excited to be running for re-election. During my time on the board, I’ve gained valuable experience in budgeting cycles and labor negotiations. I’ve also had the honor of attending numerous school events—musicals, sporting events, graduations, and award ceremonies—and the privilege of connecting with ISD 622’s diverse families, students, teachers, and staff.
I am honored to be running again and would be grateful for your vote on November 5th (or via early voting/absentee ballot). If re-elected, I’ll continue working to ensure that every student in ISD 622 thrives. My focus will remain on building a stronger district through my roles as Board Chair, member of the AMSD Executive/Legislative Committee, and participant in the Student-Centered Working Group, Educational Equity Alliance, and the Ramsey County League of Local Governments. Together, we can keep moving forward.
