About Kita Yang

My family and I have called Maplewood home for nearly 20 years, and all three of my children have attended ISD 622 schools.  My husband, mother-in-law, children, and I are actively involved in the Maplewood, North St. Paul, and Oakdale communities. I have been a Human Resources (HR) professional since 2003 and currently work in the nonprofit sector for an organization focused on education and youth. I also bring experience from my time at St. Paul Public Schools and in higher education. My core strengths include building relationships, strategic planning, financial stewardship, and problem-solving.
