Priorities

My priorities focus on School Safety, building strong Relationships, and prioritizing Academic Achievement.

Creating a safe and secure environment is a priority for me. This means taking measures to address both mental health and physical safety, while providing the necessary support for students, families, staff, and teachers. When students feel safe and secure, they are more likely to trust, engage, and thrive, which directly impacts their academic success.

Building and facilitating meaningful relationships with stakeholders in our communities is key to fostering trust in our district. Strong, positive relationships create academic engagement and encourage positive behavior -- both leading to improved attendance, stronger course and work performance, and higher completion rates. 

Prioritizing academic achievement ensures students reach their goals and meet critical outcomes. Addressing disrupted learning by tackling absenteeism, supporting students, and creating opportunities for a positive learning experiences is key to driving academic achievement.
